There is a thread on Mats board.

Very simply you can do this once a day.
Go here and read it and "click it" if you think it's worthwhile. I do.

From half a world away you can help save an old growth forest.
If you have some cash you can donate directly.
If you don't, there is a button you can click.
Somehow...when one clicks on this button it provides this organization enough funds to buy a very small piece of the forest. It doesn't cost you a thing except the time to load the page and click the 'free' button.

Do it every morning and soon there is a chunk purchased and preserved.
The site seems to averaging over 9,000 clicks a day. There is a map that shows the land that has been purchased. Not your click, but simply purchased land.

It's fast, it's easy and every llittle bit seems to be helping.

I click every day.

It seems to save some old forrest. That┤s good enough for me.

Old forrests are rare over here. We have an old history of agriculture and for the last 100 - 150 years forrestry has been a big industry also. So most of the forrests are young, with a big part waiting to be harvested and becoming logging areas again.

Thanks for helping out.

I haven┤t really got hold of how the sponsorship thing works, but it seems to save some old forrest. That┤s good for me.

Old forests are rare everywhere any more Mats.

Once you've 'clicked' you are taken to a thank you page. On that page are a group of 'sponsors'. Ads. They are the one's who are paying for your click.

Thank you all for taking a couple of minutes to click every day.
You really are a good group of humans...
